In 1948, Raymond and Mildred Pitcairn commissioned Bryn Athyn artist Winfred S. Hyatt to design this Christmas card. The scene portrays three wise men pointing toward the Star of Bethlehem in the distance. Two of the wise men are kneeling, while one stands with arms outstretched toward the radiant star. Two camels are on the left side. Hyatt is remembered principally for his work at Bryn Athyn’s stained-glass studio, which produced windows for both Bryn Athyn Cathedral and Glencairn. He worked for the Pitcairns from 1916 until his passing in 1959.
