Bryn Athyn artist Donald Moorhead crafted this Christmas card, featuring the architecture of Bethlehem with the Holy Family in a stable. The card was sent to Raymond and Mildred Pitcairn by Donald and his wife, Beryl (date unknown). Trained at the Tyler School of Art and Architecture in Philadelphia, from 1947 to 1953 he produced hundreds of drawings and illustrations for a variety of New Church (Swedenborgian Christian) children’s publications.
