Self-Guided Access

The Museum’s self-guided access opportunities provide visitors with the flexibility to explore the Museum at their own pace and take in the beauty of the surroundings on their own.

SELF-GUIDED ACCESS | FIRST FLOOR

During your visit explore the mosaic Bird Room, Upper Hall, Great Hall, Great Hall balcony, Craftsmanship at Glencairnexhibit, the exhibition Cardboard Chronicles: The Biblical Art of Rudolph Bostic, and the Museum Shop. A 15-minute video on the history of Bryn Athyn, the Pitcairn family, and Glencairn Museum is available.

Kids! Travel through five exciting stories from history and discover characters, places, myths, legends, symbols, and so much more within the art and objects on the first floor of Glencairn Museum! The family Story Trails booklets are available for purchase (and come with a Glencairn Museum pencil) at our Visitor Services desk as you enter the Museum. Complete each story to receive a charm, and head home with a Story Trails charm bracelet.
