Philadelphia's own Mimi Stillman returns, this time with her acclaimed Dolce Suono Trio: Mimi Stillman, flute (Yamaha Performing Artist); Yumi Kendall, cello (The Philadelphia Orchestra); Charles Abramovic, piano (Temple University). Renowned for its dazzling artistry, the ensemble will perform music by Haydn, Bizet-Borne, Gaubert, Rachmaninov, and will be joined by mezzo-soprano Rebecca Oehlers in Jeremy Gill's "Ode: A Dramatic Cantata," an important new work commissioned by the Dolce Suono Chamber Music Concert Series, of which Ms. Stillman is founder and Artistic Director.
