Glencairn presents religious life through the ages, using art and artifacts from a variety of cultures and time periods. Join us on April 10th for our annual Sacred Arts Festival. Watch as the Venerable Losang Samten completes and then dismantles a Sand Mandala (see previous listing) and stone carvers demonstrate the finer points of their craft. View our current temporary exhibition, “From Gutenberg to Kindle: The Art of Bible Making,” and live demonstrations of a replica Gutenberg-style printing press. Listen to sacred music, see stained glass panels being painted, and participate in fun family activities.
