Sip wine in the cloister and meet the authors of an exciting new book, The Bryn Athyn Historic District (Ed and Kirsten Hansen Gyllenhaal). Enjoy a nighttime view from Glencairn’s tower, view the exhibition “From Gutenberg to Kindle: The Art of Bible Making,” and see live demonstrations of a Gutenberg-era replica printing press in action.
While at Glencairn, purchase a copy of the newly-published The Bryn Athyn Historic District, part of Arcadia Publishing's Images of America book series. The authors’ royalties and a portion of profits from books sold at Glencairn Museum will go towards the arrangement, description, and care of photographs in the archives of the Bryn Athyn Historic District.
New and renewing members of Glencairn Museum will receive a copy of The Bryn Athyn Historic District free of charge (offer good May 30, 2011 – May 30, 2012). This offer applies to Individual ($30), Family ($40), and Frequent Visitors ($80) membership categories.
