Iron has a long history of uses. There are many examples of using iron around the home, from coat hooks and kitchenware to gates and railings. This workshop will teach you the basics of using a forge and anvil to make functional everyday items. Whether you prefer practical or something with a bit more flair, you will have the chance to make forged objects with your own hands.
Join us for a 4-week metalworking workshop led by instructor Liz Jackson, in collaboration with Bryn Athyn College.
About the Instructor:
Liz Jackson received a B.F.A. in Building Arts from Bryn Athyn College. In her metalworking career, Liz focuses on creating functional and decorative artwork.
