Summer camp at Glencairn is back, and we can’t wait to welcome you for a week full of fun, exploration, curiosity, discovery, friendship, and learning in a completely unique museum! Glencairn’s summer camp is designed to spark creativity, build new connections, and invite campers to see art and culture in a new way. Led by experienced and passionate staff with background check compliance, CPR, first aid, and child abuse prevention training, each week includes:

  • Storytelling in Glencairn’s awe-inspiring Great Hall

  • Arts and crafts in Glencairn’s new, state-of-the-art Studio space

  • Outdoor activities on Glencairn’s expansive grounds inspired by history and focused on teamwork, skill building, and fun

  • Daily outdoor time in Glencairn’s Cloister garden for snacks and games

  • Exclusive use of Glencairn’s historic kitchen for hands-on cooking and baking activities

  • Guided educational activities in all gallery spaces, including the Tower, allowing campers to interact with authentic ancient and medieval art and objects

  • Community building games and ice breakers led by camp staff to help campers feel connected and build friendships

  • Dedicated time every day for campers to take inspiration from all that they have learned and create something new that reflects their experience at summer camp
