What’s a Mola? It’s a colorful cotton art form made exclusively by the Cuna Indians from the San Blas Islands, off the coast of Panama.
Instead of "seeing green" on March 17, St. Patrick’s Day, see burgundy and orange and splashes of other bright colors at Glencairn Museum. View the current exhibition of Molas depicting Biblical scenes, make your own felt mola and take a "Textile Tour" to compare molas to other ancient and medieval fabrics. Take a ride to the Tower to see the panoramic view of the countryside. The tours and activities are ongoing. No reservations needed.
