Please note: as of 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 19, the guided tours for our Members Only event on Saturday are full. There will still be plenty to do on the 1st floor, so walk-in visitors are still welcome to enjoy refreshments and hands-on activities there.
Enjoy the Molas exhibition, refreshments and family-friendly activities throughout the morning. The guided tour will allow you to get up close with Glencairn’s stunning marble statue of Minerva-Victoria, to see for yourself the evidence supporting newly discovered answers to her ancient mysteries. The guided tour will also include rarely-seen Egyptian beads and amulets pulled from the Museum vaults. After the tour chat with the experts: Dr. Wendy Closterman, who has researched and written about the Minerva-Victoria statue, and Ed Gyllenhaal, Glencairn’s curator and Egyptologist.
